ROTARACT is an International organisation developed by Rotary International. The name itself, in fact, originates from the union of the words Rotary and Action. Rotaract is a rare mix of social action and of cultural dedication. The association has over 160.000 members around the world and 6.000 Clubs distributed in 156 countries.

The Grazia Focacci Committee for Rotaract was born in 2004 to commemorate the inner strength of an exceptional woman, who fought against a terrible disease for five years and in name of all those people who, like her, fight daily against an illness that, to this day, is still not entirely known.
The objectives are:
Funding innovative therapies, particularly against lymphomas, based on the new frontiers opened by molecular medicine,
Support all those who find themselves fighting against cancer,
Organise specialist medical examination reducing waiting times.


On these foundations its transformation into the:

Pier Francesco Ferrucci, co-author of Modì 2, now doctor and researcher at the European Oncologic Institute of Milan.
Engaged at present with the Grazia Focacci Foundation in favour of Rotaract, to which the proceeds of this online auction will be given to.
